Are you curious about the legacy cleanup mission at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL)? Do you want to learn more about how thousands of groundwater, surface water, stormwater, soil, sediment and vapor samples collected annually—on and off LANL property—informs cleanup activities?
- Starting at 5 p.m., the U.S. Department of Energy Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office (EM-LA) will provide an update on the LANL legacy cleanup.
- Newport News Nuclear BWXT-Los Alamos, LLC (N3B), the LANL legacy cleanup contractor, will present on the environmental sampling and monitoring program, followed by a public Q&A. This portion is available in person and virtually via Microsoft Teams.
- For the remaining part of the meeting, in-person attendees will have an opportunity to interact with, and ask questions of, N3B subject matter experts.
